What is the Longest Day Challenge, where is it and when is it?
The Longest Day Challenge is a 6 hour running event at Harsthill Hayes Country Park, 155 Oldbury Road, Nuneaton, CV10 0TH on Friday 21st June 2019 at 09:00.
How far is the race?
You decide! The 2.8-mile loop at Hartshill Hayes Country Park (Nuneaton) means your race can be less than 5k or over 30miles! You decide how many laps you're going to do on the day within the 6-hour time limit. If you're looking to cover a marathon distance you'll need to complete 9 laps and a half marathon will be 5 laps (14.4 miles). Beware this is a hilly course, the marathon is over 3000ft of climbing!!

have to pay to park (£2.50 at the time of writing). This money goes directly to the country parks, they are great spaces that do need money and this is their main revenue stream. That said, be a hero and car share, save money and the world!

. You can see the conditions of the course from the photos below. In summary, it's hilly! Each lap has over 300ft of up... and down...! It's a great course, mainly through the mature woodland, there is a killer set of steps you get to run down and some stunning views across 4 counties at the start of each lap. There is some compact trail but the vast majority of the course is woodland trail.

There is a map at the bottom of the page, use the post code CV10 0TH for Sat Navs. It is 10 minutes from Nuneaton and 20 minutes from Junction 3 of the M6. The closest train station is Nuneaton.
